Hi I am the Therapeutic Lead at Creative Futures. I am a fully qualified counselling therapist and run the Connection Space counselling service in Matlock.
I offer 1:1 talking based sessions which provide a safe space to explore a client’s story and feelings connected to what they’re currently experiencing.
I am really interested in how we process life events (at a whole body felt level) and how the relational connection through therapy can aid our understanding of ourselves, others and ultimately improve our wellness.
My background includes play work, youth and community work, training and volunteering.
I receive regular supervision, attend relevant and up to date training and am bound by an ethical framework in terms of working safely will all clients

Hello I am the Founder and Co-ordinator at Young Futures and lead on finance, fundraising, marketing and governance.
I am an experienced senior manager within the arts and not-for-profit sector, driving community engagement and supporting the development and transformation of organisations.
I am here though because I am a mum who has lost her beautiful to suicide, is trying to support her wonderful daughter through the trauma of her loss and is working hard to try and prevent other families suffering such a devastating loss.

Hi I am one of the Creative Practitioners at Young Futures. I am a contemporary dancer, using my movement practise in wellbeing, learning and development, and community settings.
I draw on all sorts of creative movement processes to enable connection with oneself and others, creative thinking, communication and expression, and fun - enhancing physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
I love working with young people, and am excited to bring these potential benefits to the Young Futures programme.
